Keystone Agency Partners in partnership with Keyes Blanket, an independent insurance agency serving the personal and business insurance needs of clients in Florida. Financial terms of the majority stake transaction were not disclosed.

California Insurance Wholesalers Association announced an arrangement to bring together CIWA members and Western States Surplus Lines Conference affiliates for an exclusive annual summer event. The 2022 Summer Forum will take place in Monterey, CA from June 26-29. This summit of long-time members will include CIWA members and directors and board members of national surplus line associations.

Builders and Craftsmen Insurance ServicesInc. has launched home-based business coverage – available nationwide and underwritten by a specialist insurer RLI. RLI’s home business insurance protects small home-based businesses against general liability risks and protects their equipment, furnishings, fixtures and inventory while they work from home and off-site. Adequate protection against these risks is generally not provided by standard home insurance policies.

Coterie Insurance announced the expansion of its small business insurance products in New York State. The company is committed to providing a superior insurance experience for New York’s small businesses to insure the Empire State’s 2.2 million business owners. With the addition of New York, Coterie insurance products are now available to agents and brokers who help small businesses obtain insurance nationwide and in the District of Columbia.

Otherness group acquired Hager Strategic, Inc. Mike Hager and Faisal Saleh, chief strategic officers of Hager, are joining Alterity and will report to Sharla St. Rose, chief executive officer of Alterity. The transaction closed on May 6, 2022.
