Clifford R. “Cliff” “Cliffy” Goodling Jr., 54, of Richfield, entered into eternal rest on June 5, 2022 in Monroe Township, Snyder County.

Cliffy was born on February 20, 1968 in Lewistown, the son of the late Clifford R. Goodling, Sr. and Deanna Mae Spade. On June 15, 2013, he married the love of his life, Weena Mae Sweigart.

He worked as a mechanic in his son’s garage, Goodling’s Auto Repair. Cliffy was a member of the Liverpool American Legion and Hunters Valley Sportsmen’s Club.

Cliffy enjoyed hunting and fishing with his beloved wife. He especially enjoyed spending precious time with his children, grandchildren and wife.

He is survived by his wife, Weena; four children, Zachary R. Goodling of Richfield, Woodrow R. Goodling of McAlisterville, Brent A. Smith of Richfield and Hailey A. Smith of Richfield; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Lori Corman and her husband Dennis of McAlisterville and Rebecca Rice and her husband Mitchell of McAlisterville; and a brother, Cory Goodling of Mifflin.

Cliffy was predeceased by his parents; one son, Travis Roy Goodling; and a stepson, Jeffrey Scott Smith.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 9 to 10 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, with Pastor Mike Neimond officiating.

Interment will follow immediately at Richfield Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent in Cliffy’s memory to the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., PO Box 65, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, to help with funeral expenses. .
