I-CAR Announces IACET Accreditation | FenderBender

April 6, 2022—The Interindustry Collision Repair Conference announced via press release that it has become the first interprofessional collision repair organization to receive accreditation from the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training. IACET is a non-profit association for education and continuing education programs, and is approved by the American Nation Standards Institute.

In order to achieve this accreditation, I-CAR underwent a thorough evaluation of its programs, as explained by David Parzen, Director of Protocols, Licensing and Quality Management at I-CAR. According to Parzen, I-CAR “…has successfully demonstrated its adherence to IACET standards by handling the design, development, administration and evaluation of its programs.”

I-CAR President and CEO John Van Alstyne looks forward to providing an advanced level of training through this high standard. “I-CAR’s IACET accreditation is another symbol of our commitment to industry-leading technical training and the highest standards for course development across our program portfolio, strengthening further I-CAR’s leadership in providing relevant and accessible collision repair training and programs. Van Alstyne shared.
