Just Auto Insurance Review (2022)

According to the Just Auto Insurance website, the agency offers a wide range of auto insurance coverage at great rates. However, other than the state of California’s minimum liability coverage, none of the available options are listed on the website, which is a bit surprising.

We reviewed the insurance companies listed on the Just Auto Insurance website: Kemper Auto Insurance, Infinity Auto Insurance, and Alliance United. These companies offer the following standard coverage options and add-ons, and they may be available for purchase from Just Auto Insurance. If you decide to purchase your insurance coverage here, we recommend that you discuss your coverage options in detail with your agent.

Civil liability is of two types: civil liability for bodily injury and civil liability for property damage. Personal injury liability insurance covers injuries to the other party if you are responsible for the accident. Property damage liability insurance covers repairs to the other person’s car or property if it was damaged in the accident.

In California, you must have a minimum liability auto insurance coverage of 15/30/5. If you have this coverage, your insurance will pay up to $15,000 for medical expenses per accident, up to $30,000 for injuries per accident, and up to $5,000 for property damage per accident.

If you can afford to purchase higher liability coverage and your insurer offers this option, it’s always a good idea to purchase enough coverage to protect your personal property if you ever have a serious at-fault accident.

Collision insurance pays for repairs to your car and usually comes with a deductible. If your deductible is $1,000 and the total cost of auto repairs is $2,500, you will pay $1,000 to the repair shop and your insurance company will pay the remaining $1,500.

Generally, the higher the deductible, the lower the premium will be. Some people choose a higher deductible to save on the cost of insurance, but it will increase their personal expenses in the event of an accident.

Comprehensive auto insurance pays for damage or loss to your vehicle for reasons other than collision, such as fire, theft, vandalism, or weather. As with collision coverage, a deductible will apply.

Comprehensive and collision coverage are not state mandated, but are usually required by a lender or lessee.

Medical expenses cover covers medical expenses up to a certain limit for you and your passengers if you are involved in an accident.

Uninsured motorist coverage pays for your injuries and property damage if you are involved in an accident with an uninsured driver.

If you have rental reimbursement coverage, it will pay for a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired after a covered accident. However, there is generally a limit per day and per event for the amount covered.

Just Auto Insurance will provide insurance for all drivers, including those with DUIs, traffic tickets, accidents, or suspended licenses. Companies offering non-standard insurance also often help customers complete their SR-22 case. This could also be an option at Just Auto Insurance, if you want a quote from that agency.
