INDIANAPOLIS, July 25, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Stanley Black & Decker today announced that its iconic CRAFTSMAN® the brand reunites with the Ace Hardware Foundation and Christopher Bell of Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN Hospitals) hospitals through its annual Racing for a Miracle program.

As part of the annual Racing for a Miracle program, this year four children from Riley Children’s Health downtown Indianapolis enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime VIP racing experience alongside the CRAFTSMAN driver Christopher Bell, serving as her honorary junior crew members. To honor its extraordinary junior team of Donovan (10), Callista (14), Jha’Vion (15), and Pablo (15), Bell will be releasing a special “8-Bit Pixel Art Gaming” paint theme on his car consisting of pixelated images of the junior crew, each reflecting a different position of the pit crew in the team. This special-edition paint scheme will debut on Bell’s #20 Toyota Camry TRD during the July 31 racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway; a place that has sentimental value as it was the first city to host the Racing for a Miracle program in 2007.

On July 28Bell and CRAFTSMAN brand ambassador, TV host and car enthusiast Cristy Lee, will spend time with Riley Children’s patients and present the Ace Hardware Foundation with a check from CRAFTSMAN in support of the Racing for a Miracle program. Over the past 16 years, Stanley Black & Decker and the Ace Hardware Foundation have donated over $1.6 million at CMN hospitals across the country.

After the race, the autographed helmet worn by Bell will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the buyer’s local CMN Hospital.
