State Department Takes Action Against Tekonsha Repair Plant

TEKONSHA – The Michigan Department of State (MDOS) has issued a cease and desist order to an auto repair shop for not being registered as a repair establishment under the Michigan Service and Repair Act .

S&S Automotive, owned by Cody Lee Suhonen and located at 945 N. Main Street in Tekonsha, was found to be performing repairs with an expired installation registration. After an inspection by MDOS on December 9, 2021, the owner was found to be performing motor vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair service on a motor vehicle whose repair facility registration has expired. The registration has expired since April 16, 2020 and the property has not renewed its registration.
