Party Ave in Crestwood party too much (Crestwood, IL) Crestwood Village Council held its second meeting of 2022 on Thursday, January 20. the Village of Crestwood approved a motion to consider revoking a business license issued to The Party Ave, a party venue located at 13121 Rivercrest Dr.

The Party Ave had been the subject of complaints by neighboring businesses. These complaints included drinking without a license, dismantling the sprinkler system, and parties with excessive noise. In a previous hearing, the company owner confessed everything. The company is currently in arrears with the Village for fines.

Administrator Theresa Flynn, who describes herself as a supporter of second chances, was the only opposition. Flynn said, “I think because we issued her a room license rather than a party supply, she should have been given the opportunity to rectify.” Mayor Ken Klein declined to comment on the revocation.

Economic development

New businesses are coming ridge wood. Raising Cane’s will begin construction this spring on Route 83 and Cicero Avenue. A large service station is also in the works for the intersection of Cicero and the Midlothian Turnpike, which will include a restaurant and retail outlets.

  • Order the village prosecutor to prepare an order at the request of Amal Ibrahim, Tires 4 Less Group and Complete Auto Repair dba Discount Motors for special use permitting the sale, purchase and repair of new tires and used, as well as the repair and sale of automobiles with a stipulation that all vehicles must be stored in a fenced yard or in the building and must follow all EPA guidelines regarding disposal of oil and /or antifreeze and tires. No vehicle painting or body work is permitted on the premises of 43551 W Midlothian Tpk., Crestwood, IL 60418
  • Order the Village Attorney to prepare an order at the request of Amal Ibrahim, Chicago Auto Group for special use permitting the sale of used cars with a stipulation that all vehicles must be stored in a fenced lot or building on the premises of 4355 W. Midlothian Tpk., Crestwood, IL 60418
  • Review of an order granting a special use permit for the rental and sale of trucks and trailers and the parking of semi-trucks and semi-trailers at 14200 South Pulaski, Crestwood, Illinois
  • Business license revocation review for 13121 RiverCrest Dr., The Party Ave.
