Known for his flamboyant and irreverent delivery style, Scotty sometimes delivers a more serious tone about what he sees happening in the auto industry that he thinks car owners need to be aware of.
In today’s article, Scotty takes a serious look at why car maintenance and repair is so high. In short, it’s because the auto industry is following the lucrative game plan that Big Pharma relies on – patent rights that last for years.
Scotty’s view is that, through patent rights, the auto industry creates a monopoly controlling ownership of your car which involves planned obsolescence, aftermarket replacement parts, original parts that are no longer not manufactured by the car manufacturer and your right to work on your car or have someone else do it.
